Two board members were sworn in during the State Fair Community College Board of Trustees meeting Thursday, April 11.
Smith-Cotton High School theatre students will present "The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged)" this weekend with much improvisation and humor.
The Smith-Cotton High School Constitutional Law team traveled to Columbia on Monday, April 8, to compete in the Show Me the Constitution competition, sponsored by the Missouri Bar. The team of Eleanor Holiway, Chris Boehm and Lauren Homan placed fourth.

Swisher’s hardware sold, set to change ownership April 8
WARRENSBURG – After close to 60 years since it first opened its doors, Swisher’s hardware store is being sold, with its storefront changing ownership on April 8.
The Bothwell Healing Arts Center, 3700 W. 10th St., will be the new home of Bothwell Family Medicine Associates starting April 15. The clinic move is key to Bothwell's future growth and will provide increased access to facilities for physicians in the residency program.

The MLB is a revolving door of scandal. Always has been.
