Pauline Glaydes Neal Kamery, 74, of Sedalia, died Saturday, May 24, 2008, at the Four Seasons Living Center.
She was born Feb. 27, 1934, in Hoxie, Ark., the daughter of James Alfred and Maudie Etta Smith Neal. On Dec. 1, 1951, in Hoxie she married Frankie Lewis Kamery, who died in March 1999.
She moved in 1964 with her family to Marshall, where she worked for 17 years in the family house painting business. She also worked as a certified nursing assistant at the Sweet Springs Nursing Home and the Marshall State School Hospital. The family in 1981 moved to Cole Camp, where she worked as an inspector at Unitog Co. of Warsaw until it closed. She attended the Baptist Church in Cole Camp.
Survivors include two sons, Danny Kamery, of Sedalia, and Harold Don Kamery and wife, Sherrie, of Versailles; two daughters Rona Hoover and husband, Keith, of Russell, Iowa, and Cherrie Horner and husband, Frank, of Lathrop; two sisters Christine Niece and Irene Milgrim, both of Bono, Ark.; one brother, Bobby Neal of Hoxie; 17 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
She was also predeceased by her parents; a daughter, Judy Knox; an infant son, Melvin Kamery; two sisters, Louise Dockery and Lucille Humphrey; and a brother, Roy Neal.
Serves will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Moore Funeral Home in La Monte, with the Rev. Russell Lucas officiating. Interment will follow at Edmonson Baptist Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Danny Kamery, Austin Kamery, Joshua Kamery, Sondra and Jay Fleischman and Timothy Isabell.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Pauline Kamery Memorial Fund and can be left in care of the funeral home.
