Sedalia Police Department
2:02 p.m.: Michael W. Whiteman, 39, of the 3500 block of South Grand Avenue, at West 10th Street and South Missouri Avenue, on a 24-hour hold pending a charge of driving with a suspended license.
3:51 p.m.: Theodore Powell Jr., 41, of Knob Noster, in the 1600 block of West Main Street, on a charge of driving with a suspended license.
4:10 a.m.: Michael R. Fritchey, 29, of Smithton, at East 14th Street and South Engineer Avenue, on a 24-hour hold pending a charge of driving with a suspended license.
5:38 a.m.: Kenneth L. Millard, 23, of the 200 block of South Quincy Avenue, at East 13th Street and South Lamine Avenue, on a charge of driving with a suspended license.
11 p.m.: A bottle of prescription pills was stolen from an apartment in the 300 block of Scott Joplin Court.
8:15 a.m.: More than $3,000 worth of items were stolen when several trailers were broken into in the 600 block of South Marshall Avenue.
8:16 a.m.: Registration stickers were stolen from a vehicle’s license plates in the 3100 block of Brianna Boulevard.
9:32 a.m.: A pickup truck was scratched and the air was let out of three of its tires while it was parked in a driveway in the 900 block of West Broadway Boulevard.
10:35 a.m.: A stereo valued at $250 was stolen from a vehicle in the 900 block of West Seventh Street.
12:04 p.m.: A stereo, amplifier and two subwoofers were stolen from a vehicle in the 1700 block of South Summit Avenue.
1 p.m.: An outbuilding owned by the city of Sedalia and located northwest of the city off of North State Fair Boulevard was damaged in a possible burglary attempt.
2:21 p.m.: About $30 worth of gasoline was stolen in a drive-off from a business in the 1900 block of West Main Street.
4:15 p.m.: An Independence woman reported her sister had stolen her blanket in the 500 block of South Ohio Avenue.
6:30 p.m.: A Sedalia man reported he was assaulted near West Third Street and South Missouri Avenue.
7:56 p.m.: A 15-year-old boy was assaulted in the 900 block of East Fifth Street.
8:17 p.m.: A Sedalia woman reported someone trespassed on her property in the 300 block of West 10th Street and attempted to look inside her home.
8:52 p.m.: A vehicle’s windshield and window were broken out and several large dents were put in the doors while it was parked in the 1600 block of South Limit Avenue.
11:21 p.m: A vehicle’s tire was slashed in the 700 block of West 16th Street.
