Arkansans hurt in saline crash

Two Arkansas residents were seriously injured in a vehicle accident at 7:30 a.m. Tuesday in Saline County.

Evelyn A. Bullington, 68, of Hidgen, Ark., was driving east on Interstate 70 at the 83 mile marker when she drove off the left side of the road, overcorrected, drove off the left side of the road again, hit the median cable and rolled the vehicle onto the passenger side, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report.

Bullington and a passenger in her vehicle, Dorthy J. Hunt, 68, of Higden, Ark., were both taken to University Hospital in Columbia for their injuries.

The reports indicated that both were wearing seat belts at the time of the crash.
