This list is a sampling of crime in Sedalia and the surrounding area. The information is taken from official police reports, which do not necessarily contain statements from all parties involved in each case.

Dec. 18

4:09 p.m.: Bobby D. Huffman, 46, of the 1800 block of South Lamine Avenue, at West Fourth Street and South Limit Avenue, on a charge of driving with a revoked license.

10:30 p.m.: Michael L. Wise, 23, of the 3300 block of South Stewart Avenue, at West Broadway Boulevard and South Grand Avenue, on a charge of driving with a suspended license.


Dec. 15

1:30 p.m.: Surveillance video footage showed mail being stolen from a mailbox at a residence in the 2600 block of West 32nd Street.

Dec. 17

5 a.m.: A plastic basket with fruit, a canister of cookies and two small Christmas presents were repeatedly left on the roof of a vehicle parked in the 400 block of East Tower Street.

Noon: Several items, including an Acer laptop, that were left on the front porch of a residence in the 1800 block of South Stewart Avenue for several days were stolen.

5:05 p.m.: A hit-and-run occurred in the 1000 block of South Grand Avenue.

Dec. 18

7 a.m.: A Caterpillar Stud Street model 289C, valued at $70,000, was stolen from a job site in the 600 block of East 14th Street.

8 a.m.: Checks and cash were stolen from a business in the 3200 block of East Broadway Boulevard.

10:30 a.m.: A vehicle was keyed and dented while it was parked in the 300 block of East Boonville Street.

4:20 p.m.: Copper pipes were stolen, holes were punched in the ceiling and the electric was turned off causing the basement to flood at a listed property in the 1300 block of South Brown Avenue.

Dec. 19

6:35 a.m.: Several unspecified items were stolen from a vehicle parked in the 300 block of South Hancock Avenue.

7 a.m.: A driverís license, sunglasses and bag of Golden Harvest tobacco were stolen from a vehicle parked in the 200 block of East Saline Avenue.

Dec. 18

3:35 p.m.: Thresa D. Hester, 46, of Fairbanks, Alaska, was arrested in Saline County on charges of possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
