Anderson to speak at Marshall Public Library

June 25, 2013

The Marshall Public Library’s adult summer reading program will host Brother John Anderson, a motivational storyteller and cultural historian, at 6 p.m. June 27 in the library’s meeting room.

His program “Secret Agents of the Underground Railroad,” is an interactive story told with music and role play and with dynamic vocal impressions. He will share primary source material and artifacts as participants explore the life of key Underground Railroad conductors and the ways they helped African-American enslaved fugitives gain freedom.
