Keim-Miesner engagement

Dennis and Martha Keim, of Hannibal, announce the engagement of their daughter, Jessica May Keim, to Derek Wade Miesner. He is the son of Fred Miesner and Susan Potts, both of Sedalia.

The future bride is the granddaughter of the late Ed and Helen Keim, of Hannibal, and the late Ivan and Iola Smith, also of Hannibal. The future groom is the grandson of the late Jo Ann Wilson, of Sedalia, and Julia Turley and A. B. “Red” Turley, also of Sedalia.

She is a 2003 graduate of Palmyra High School and received a Bachelor of Commercial Arts in 2007 at the University of Central Missouri in Warrensburg. She is employed as an assistant manager for Bank of America in Overland Park, Kan.

He is a 1998 graduate of Smith-Cotton High School in Sedalia, and graduated from State Fair Community College in Sedalia with an Associate of Applied Science and Associate of Arts degrees with an emphasis in business management. He is currently employed as a retail store manager for AT&T in Lee’s Summit.

A private ceremony is scheduled for the fall at Powell Gardens in Kingsville.

A reception will be held for friends and family Saturday, Sept. 20, 2014, at the Quality Inn in Hannibal.

The couple will live in Olathe, Kan.
