Coffey anniversary

Mr. and Mrs. Charles Coffey will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a reception from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday, July 12 at First Christian Church, 200 S. Limit Ave., in Sedalia.

Dixie Vincent and Charles Coffey were married July 9, 1965, at First Christian Church in Windsor.

Mr. Coffey began his career at Armco Steel and stayed with the company during its transition to GST. He retired in 2001 after 36 years. Mrs. Coffey is retired, but spent her career working in retail at Vincent’s Shoe and Apparel alongside her parents, brother and sister-in-law. She also had a shoe and clothing store in Lexington for more than 40 years.

The couple has two children, Lisa (Rich) Cooperider, of Lexington, and Jason Coffey, of Lee’s Summit; and four grandchildren.

Friends and relatives are invited to the celebration. The couple request no gifts. Cards may be sent to 1003 S. Carr Ave., Sedalia, Mo. 65301.
