Agatha Christie’s “Spider’s Web” at Lyceum

ARROW ROCK — The Arrow Rock Lyceum Theatre presents Agatha Christie’s murder mystery “Spider’s Web.” Performances take place Saturday through Aug. 1.

Single tickets for “Spider’s Web” are priced at $35.50 for adults. Senior, student and children discounts are available. Special group rates are available as well. Evening performances are at 8 p.m. and matinees are at 2 p.m. For tickets, visit www.lyceumtheatre.org, call 837-3311 ext. 1 or visit in person at the Lyceum’s box office at 114 High St., Arrow Rock.

Dickie Doo Bar-B-Q Events

Dickie Doo Bar-B-Que, 4800 S. Limit Ave., will host a Songwriters’ Showcase at 7:30 p.m. every Wednesday; a Jam Night every Thursday; and a Gospel Hour at 12:30 p.m. every Sunday, suitable for families.

Tonight at 8:30 p.m.: Art Seabury & The Supermatics.

Saturday at 8:30 p.m.: Between the Lines Funk Extravaganza.

Festival of Butterflies

The Butterfly Festival at Powell Gardens will take place from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. July 31 to Aug. 2. Powell Gardens is located at 1609 NW U.S. Highway 50 near Kingsville, approximately 50 miles west of Sedalia.

Social Painting Classes

The Painting Parlor, 314 S. Ohio Ave., will host social painting classes from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Private parties available by appointment. To make reservations visit www.paintingparlor.com.
