This list is a sampling of crime in Sedalia and the surrounding area. Information is taken from official police reports, which do not necessarily contain statements from all parties involved in each case.

Arrests

March 16

3:16 p.m.:Negina A. Melgar, 18, Emily Melgar, and Ana M. Marcos, 18, of Sedalia, were issued summons to appear in court on a charge stealing by shoplifting in the 700 block of East Broadway Boulevard.

4: 43 p.m.: Montreal D. Speed, 22, of the 300 block of McAnally Drive in Sedalia, was arrested in the 600 block of East 14th Street on charges of assault and a pedestrian walking along the roadway.

11:05 p.m.: Cody Alan Lewis, 32, of the 300 block of Wast 26th Street in Sedalia, was arrested near the intersection of East 10th Street and Marvin Avenue on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia following a traffic stop.

11:38 p.m.: Robert R. Dixon, 56, of Jefferson City, was arrested near the intersection of East 10th Street and South Martin Avenue on a charge of driving with a suspended license following a traffic stop.

March 17

11:33 p.m.: Benjamin F. Hinsberger, 29, of the 1200 block of West 11th Street in Sedalia, was arrested near the intersection of West 16th Street and South Vermont Avenue on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia.

Incidents

March 16

8:41 a.m.: A resport fo theft by stealing of a wallet from an unlocked pickup truck was taken in the 800 block of East 12th Street.

Arrests

March 17

10:08 p.m.: Leslie M. Cretel, 29, of Kansas City, Missouri, was arrested on charges of driving while intoxicated and careless and imprudent driving.

March 18

10:51 a.m.: Duane E. Dixon, of Sedalia, was arrested in Pettis County on a charge of driving with a suspended license and misdemeanor warrants out of Marshall.

12:30 a.m.: Eva J. Gann, 33, of Holden, was arrested in Johnson County on charges of driving while intoxicated, no valid insurance and failure to drive on right half of roadway.

12:55 a.m.: Chatiara S. Salandy, 24, was arrested in Johnson County on a charge of driving while intoxicated.

12:57 a.m.: Jennifer R. Pratt, 34, of Sedalia, was arrested in Pettis County on a charge of driving while intoxicated.

3:19 a.m.: Joseph M. Guilfoyle, 24, was arrested in Clay County on charges of driving while intoxicated, no valid insurance and speeding.
