Three injured in Benton wreck
Three people were injured in a single-vehicle accident at 5:50 p.m. Sunday in Benton County.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, London C. Robinson, 19, of Clinton, was driving south on state Route T, three-tenths of a mile south of Bridge A3692, when her vehicle hydroplaned and traveled off the right side of the road, striking several trees before coming to rest.
Robinson was taken by private vehicle to Bothwell Regional Health Center with minor injuries. Two passengers in her vehicle, Cheyenne B. Lawson, 16, of Warsaw, and Dustin R. Sanders, 20, of Warsaw, were both taken by Warsaw-Lincoln Ambulance District to Bothwell with minor injuries.
Reports indicate all three occupants were wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident.
Knob Noster man hurt in crash
A Knob Noster man was injured in a single-vehicle accident at 7 p.m. Sunday in Johnson County.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, David M. Barksdale, 25, was driving east on state Route D, a half mile west of County Road SE 1151, when his vehicle traveled off the road, overturned and struck several trees and a utility pole.
Barksdale, who was wearing a seat belt, was taken by Johnson County Ambulance District to Lee’s Summit Medical Center with minor injuries.
