Boeschen to leave Boys & Girls Club

The Boys & Girls Clubs of West Central Missouri announces the departure of its Director of Development, Melissa Boeschen, effective April 12.

Boeschen, who has worked at the Club for nearly five years, is moving on to a Community Outreach position with Bothwell Regional Health Center.

“I want to thank the many community partners that have supported the Club and myself both personally and professionally for many years,” Boeschen said. “I plan to continue supporting the Club in other capacities as I believe in its mission and wholeheartedly believe the Club has the best product to sell – great futures for today’s youth. Thank you to the board and staff, both past and present, for believing in me.”

“For many in our community, Melissa was the ‘go to’ person for the Boys & Girls Club through her extensive fundraising efforts,” Executive Director Jessica Pyle said. “While she has large shoes to fill, the Boys & Girls Club staff and board of directors are committed to continuing to sustainably serve the youth we see every day.

“Melissa will be missed and we wish her well in her future endeavors.”
