Dillner-Skain wedding


Nancy Lynn Dillner, of Pilot Grove, and Patrick Martin Skain, of Jefferson City, were married at 4 p.m. May 30 at the Wolfe Family Farm in Pleasant Green. The bride is the daughter of Byron and and Joy Dillner, of Pilot Grove. The groom is the son of Mike and Patty Skain, of Jefferson City.

Dan Page and Rick Adams performed the ceremony. The bride was given in marriage by her father. Kelly Dillner, cousin of the bride, was the vocalist.

Chelsea Wesselman was the maid of honor. Abby Twenter, Kellie Dillner, cousin of the bride, and Stephanie Stephens were bridesmaids. Frances Martin, grandmother of the groom, and Mary Dillner, grandmother of the bride, were the flower girls. Amelia Truex and Jesse Skain, cousin of the groom, were guest book attendants.

Kenny Elliot was the best man. Chris Skain and Matt Skain, both brothers of the groom, and Brad Dillner, brother of the bride, were groomsmen. Gunner Streit, cousin of the bride, was the ring bearer. Tyler Dillner, Adam Jobe and Sean McCarrell, all cousins of the bride, and Ryan Harris, cousin of the groom, were ushers.

Chad Wolfe, Cody Wolfe and Garrett Streit, all cousins of the bride, were parking attendants. Steve Day and Larry Lewis were family car drivers. Denise Day, Martha Skain, cousin of the groom, and John Skain, uncle of the groom, were readers.

A rehearsal dinner was hosted by the groom’s parents May 29 at Settler’s Inn in Boonville.

A wedding reception was hosted by the bride’s parents May 30 at the Pilot Grove Community Building in Pilot Grove.

The bride is a 2009 graduate of Pilot Grove High School and a 2014 graduate of State Fair Community College. She is attending Dental Assistant School in Jefferson City.

The groom graduated in 2005 from Helias High School in Jefferson City and graduated in 2014 from the University of Missouri-Columbia. He works as a traffic studies specialist for the Missouri Department of Transportation in Jefferson City.

After a honeymoon to Jamaica the couple live in Boonville.
