Swiss cyclist stops for donuts

Ines Michel, 30, of Lucerne, Switzerland, who is cycling her way across the United States, found Papa Jake’s Donut Shop on TripAdvisor Wednesday morning. She began her trip six weeks ago from the San Francisco, California, Golden Gate Bridge. She said the trip to the U.S. had always been a dream. For part of the trip she traveled along U.S. Highway 50 and plans to go on into Canada. “I was interested in knowing the people who live here,” she added.
