Warsaw woman hurt in Henry
A Warsaw woman sustained moderate injuries in a single-vehicle accident at 9:05 a.m. Wednesday in Henry County.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Melissa R. Scrivener, 18, was driving south on state Route Z, one-tenth of a mile east of County Road 1121, when she failed to negotiate a left-hand curve, causing her vehicle to travel off the right side of the road. Scrivener over-corrected, causing the vehicle to return to the road, then travel off the left side of the road and overturn.
Scrivener, who was wearing a seat belt, was taken by EMS to Golden Valley Memorial Hospital in Clinton for her injuries.
Information is taken from preliminary Missouri State Highway Patrol and Sedalia Police Department reports, which do not necessarily contain statements from all parties involved.
