Man hurt in Saline wreck

A Sweet Springs man was injured in a single-vehicle accident at 4:50 p.m. Tuesday in Saline County.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Larry C. Scott, 69, was driving south on state Route K at 105th Lane when he swerved to avoid a vehicle. His vehicle traveled off the right side of the road and overturned.

Scott, who was not wearing a seat belt, was taken by private vehicle to Fitzgibbon Hospital in Marshall with minor injuries.

Woman injured in Morgan

A Sunrise Beach woman was injured in a two-vehicle accident at 2:40 p.m. Tuesday in Morgan County.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Kail K. Seamer, 22, of Gravois Mills, was driving north on state Route 135 at Cup Tree Drive when he attempted to make a left turn and failed to yield to a southbound vehicle driven by Sydney D. Rice, 21. Seamer’s vehicle struck Rice’s vehicle.

Rice was taken by ambulance to Lake Regional Health System in Osage Beach with minor injuries.

Reports indicate both Seamer and Rice were wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident.
