Windsor teenager sustains moderate injuries
A Windsor teenager was injured in a single-vehicle accident at 6:43 p.m. Tuesday in Pettis County.
Shelbi-Kai M. Hilburn, 17, was driving south on state Route 127 at Hinken Road when she failed to negotiate a curve, causing the vehicle to slide off the roadway, where it struck a ditch and overturned, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report.
Hilburn, who was not wearing a seat belt, was taken to University Hospital in Columbia by Pettis County Ambulance District with moderate injuries.
