July 10 Crash Reports

Gilliam residents injured in Saline

Two people were injured in a single-vehicle accident at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in Saline County.

Deborak K. Johnson, 53, of Gilliam, was driving west on state Route 240 when her vehicle traveled off the right side of the roadway and struck a utility pole wire, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report. The vehicle then began to roll, striking a barbed wire fence before coming to rest on its top.

Johnson and Robert L. Hall, 59, a passenger in her vehicle, were both transported by private vehicle to Fitzgibbon Hospital in Marshall with minor injuries. Reports indicate Johnson and Hall were not wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident.

Information is taken from preliminary Missouri State Highway Patrol reports, which do not necessarily contain statements from all parties involved.
