This list is a sampling of crime in Sedalia and the surrounding area. Information is taken from official police reports, which do not necessarily contain statements from all parties involved in each case.

Arrests

Aug. 4

8:27 p.m.: Christopher L. Clough, 27, of the 1300 block of East Boonville Street in Sedalia, was arrested near the intersection East 16th Street and Monroe Avenue on a charge of driving with a suspended license.

Aug. 5

8:34 a.m.: James M. Curd, 23, of the 600 block of West Fourth Street was arrested near the intersection of South Moniteau Avenue and West Seventh Street on a charge of driving with a suspended license.

10:03 a.m.: Ronald William Duran Jr., 36, no address given, was arrested in the 100 block of Wast Jackson Street on charges of burglary in the second degree, possession of burglary tools resisting or interfering with a felony arrest, a failure to appear warrant and stealing from a building.

Aug. 6

1:22 a.m.: Dakota A. Gregg, 29, of the 1300 block of East Boonville Street in Sedalia, was arrested near the intersection of South Grand Avenue and West Main Street on a charge of driving with a suspended license and an outstanding warrant.

1:33 a.m.: Jeremy L. McKinney, 29, of the 3900 block of South Kentucky Avenue in Sedalia, was arrested on a charge of driving while intoxicated.

6:29 a.m.: Shamikka M. Rice, 25, of the 2400 block of West Main Street in Sedalia, was arrested on a charge of driving with a suspended license.

6:51 p.m.: Miguel Valencia Rubio, 33, of the 600 block of West Fifth Street was arrested near the intersection of West Third Street and Missouri Avenue on a charge of driving with a suspended license.

Incidents

A report of theft by stealing was taken in the 3000 block of South Limit Avenue when someone stole gasoline from a convenience store.

Arrests

Aug. 5

Christopher Michael Brown, of Sedalia, was arrested near the intersection of East 11th Street and Massachusetts Avenue on a charge of driving with a suspended license.
