Missouri State Fair ‘Day of Dancing’ draws over 200 people

Jan Anslinger’s square dance dress was made by someone else this year, but she said she used to make her dance clothes. Anslinger, of Kansas City, is the past president of the Missouri Federation of Square & Round Dance Clubs. She participated in the Day of Dancing inside the Mohler Assembly Hall on Wednesday.

The “Day of Dancing” was hosted Wednesday inside the Lowell Mohler Assembly Hall at the Missouri State Fair. Both line and square dancing was featured and approximately 200 to 250 people participated. During the afternoon dances Gene Miller, of Oak Grove, served as caller and emcee.
