Woman hurt in Pettis wreck

An Alamogordo, New Mexico, woman was injured in a single-vehicle accident at 6:53 p.m. Thursday in Pettis County.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Handan S. Dvorak, 27, was driving east on state Route B at Oxline when her vehicle traveled off the right side of the road. She over-corrected, then the vehicle traveled off the left side of the road, and she over-corrected again. When the vehicle returned to the road it overturned, coming to rest on its wheels.

Dvorak, who was wearing a seat belt, was taken by private vehicle to Golden Valley Memorial Hospital in Clinton with minor injuries.

Clinton man seriously injured

A Clinton man sustained serious injuries in a two-vehicle accident at 7 a.m. Friday in Henry County.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Zachary L. Danner, 27, of Windsor, was driving north on state Route 7, one mile north of NW 1101 County Road, as Dennis R. Akins, 47, was also driving north on a Taotao scooter. Akins traveled into the path of Danner’s vehicle and was struck by Danner’s vehicle.

Akins, who was not wearing a helmet, was taken by EMS to Belton Regional Medical Center in Belton for his injuries.

Reports indicate Danner was wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident.

Warsaw man hurt in Benton

A Warsaw man was injured in a single-vehicle accident at 9:39 a.m. Friday in Benton County.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Joesph F. De La Ree, 53, was driving north on state Route MM, north of Kindle Road, when his vehicle traveled off the right side of the road, struck a sign and overturned.

De La Ree, who was wearing a seat belt, was taken by EMS to Bothwell Regional Health Center with minor injuries.
