Lady Antebellum plays for crowd of 8,000


Kelsea Ballerini, opened Friday night’s Pepsi Grandstand concert for Lady Antebellum at the Missouri State Fair by telling the crowd “I hope you came here to have a good time.” She added she hoped the crowd of approximately 8,000 would sing, dance and scream for the next 45 minutes. Ballerini also stepped down into the crowd for selfies.

There was dancing in the aisles as Lady Antebellum performed Saturday evening in the Pepsi Grandstand at the Missouri State Fair. The group sang sang favorites such as “Bartender,” “Just a Kiss,” “American Honey,” and “Compass.”

At Saturday’s MSF concert Hillary Scott, of Lady Antebellum, told the crowd they had a surprise for them and then invited Kelsea Ballerini back on stage to sing “Any Man of Mine” with the group.

After leaving the stage, Saturday night, to a tremendous round of applause, Lady Antebellum returned to sing three additional songs, “Need You Now,” “We owned the Night,” and a special tribute to Lionel Richie, “All Night Long.”
