Arrests

Aug. 23

1:24 p.m.: Willa E. Alderman, 63, of Versailles, was arrested in the 4300 block of Wisconsin Drive on a charge of stealing. She allegedly stole items from a business, which were recovered on scene and returned to the store.

7:39 p.m.: Stacy D. Edwards, 52, of the 1000 block of South Vermont Avenue, was arrested near the intersection of West Morgan Street and North Osage Avenue on a charge of driving with a revoked license.

Incidents

Aug. 22

8:40 a.m.: A victim in the 2100 block of West Broadway Boulevard reported someone took a total of $1,930 from his banking account using stolen checks from Missouri and Kansas.

1:10 p.m.: A hit-and-run vehicle accident was reported in the 1600 block of South Limit Avenue.

4:25 p.m.: Domestic assault was reported in the 2300 block of East 10th Street.

Aug. 23

6:39 p.m.: Several subjects reportedly entered a residence in the 1800 block of South Beacon Avenue and damaged walls, cut wires out and took appliances. The victim provided officers with a suspect.

Arrests

Aug. 24

12:36 a.m.: Christopher B. Childers, 47, of Overland Park, Kansas, was arrested in Morgan County on charges of boating while intoxicated and failure to use highest degree of care. He was released with a court summons.
