Warrensburg police are searching for a suspect in a Thursday afternoon bank robbery.

According to information from Warrensburg Police Department Chief Rich Lockhart, at 2:14 p.m. officers were called to UMB Bank, 414 N. McGuire St., on a hold-up alarm, and as officers were responding the call was updated to a bank robbery.

The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 6 feet tall, medium to heavy build, and in his 50s. He was wearing a white hat, sunglasses and a camouflage shirt. He had a moustache that appears to be dark in color.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Warrensburg Police Department at 660-747-9133.
