Moderate injuries sustained in accident


Two people were transported by the Pettis County Ambulance District to Bothwell Regional Health Center for moderate injuries after a two-vehicle accident late Friday afternoon at West Fifth Street and South Limit Avenue. Sedalia Police Department Sgt. Brad Beard said two individuals refused treatment at the scene.

Sedalia Police Department Sgt. Brad Beard said one vehicle was traveling east on West Fifth Street when it crossed Limit Avenue and t-boned a second vehicle traveling north on South Limit Avenue. According to a witness interviewed by SPD at the scene, traffic was congested due to a red traffic light at Limit Avenue and Broadway Boulevard, and the person in the eastbound vehicle was unable to see the southbound vehicle as they traveled across Limit.
