Marshall man killed in Saline

A Marshall man was killed in a single-vehicle accident at 4 a.m. Saturday in Saline County.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Scott A. Hubbard, 40, was driving west on Mt. Olive Road, a half mile east of state Route E, when his vehicle traveled off the right side of the road and struck a concrete bridge support. The vehicle then became airborne before coming to rest on its top in Salt Fork Creek.

Hubbard was pronounced dead at 6:10 a.m. at the scene by Saline County Coroner Willie Harlow.

Reports indicate Hubbard was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident.

Versailles man hurt in Morgan

A Versailles man sustained moderate injuries in a single-vehicle accident at 4:50 p.m. Friday in Morgan County.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Glennail D. Wolford, 50, was driving north on Miller Road, four-tenths of a mile south of Miller Lane, when his vehicle traveled off the right side of the road and overturned.

Wolford, who was wearing a seat belt, was taken by Mid-Mo Ambulance District to Lake Regional Health System in Osage Beach for his injuries.

Stover woman arrested for DWI

A Stover woman was arrested on a charge of driving while intoxicated after a single-vehicle accident at 7:31 p.m. Saturday in Morgan County.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Christina L. Duncan, 32, was driving east on Sawmill Road, 390 feet east of Ivy Bend Road, when her vehicle traveled off the left side of the road, striking a fire hydrant and a tree.

Duncan, who was not wearing a seat belt, was taken by Mid-Mo Ambulance District to Lake Regional Health System in Osage Beach with moderate injuries.

Duncan was also arrested on charges of careless and imprudent driving, no seat belt and no insurance
