The Sedalia City Council will have another brief meeting today, with only three items on the agenda.
Council will review two items related to a request from Sacred Heart School to improve student pick-up and drop-off procedures. According to information provided in the meeting packet, the school has been working with the Sedalia Police Department on the proposed changes.
The two ordinances were unanimously approved by the Traffic Advisory Commission, and city staff recommends approval as well:
• Review an ordinance amending Ordinance No. 9463 by incorporating a right turn-only restriction onto West Third Street from the north-south alley between West Third Street and Wilkerson Avenue and South Missouri Avenue and South Moniteau Avenue.
• Review an ordinance amending Ordinance No. 9464 by establishing a “No parking, loading and unloading only” restriction on the south side of Wilkerson Avenue between the alley east of South Missouri Avenue and South Moniteau Avenue.
Council will also review Change Order No. 2 from Lehman Construction LLC for the Collection System Rehabilitation Phase 1A Project, bid package No. 4, for a deduction amount of $8,660.39 for final quantity adjustments. According to the meeting packet, this will decrease the total contract price to $631,243.51.
