Warrensburg woman injured in crash

A Warrensburg woman was injured in a single-vehicle accident at 5:44 p.m. Friday in Johnson County.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Lashelle M. Brannan, 26, was driving south on County Road SE 11, just south of state Route 13, when her vehicle struck potholes in the road, causing her to lose control of the vehicle. It then began skidding, traveled off the left side of the road and struck a ditch.

Brannan, who was wearing a seat belt, was taken by EMS to Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg with minor injuries.

Sedalia man arrested on DWI

A Sedalia man was arrested on a charge of driving while intoxicated after a single-vehicle accident at 8:10 p.m. Saturday in Pettis County.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Dilbert G. Clark, 43, was driving east on Forest Park Road, south of Park Avenue, when he lost control of his motorcycle and traveled off the right side of the road.

Clark, who was not wearing a helmet, was taken to University of Missouri Hospital in Columbia with serious injuries.

Woman injured in Morgan crash

A Mexico, Missouri, woman sustained moderate injuries in a two-vehicle accident at 2:30 p.m. Sunday in Morgan County.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Dustin J. Daniels, 25, of Versailles, was driving north on state Route 52 when he failed to stop at the intersection at Downing Lane and Ridgewood Road, and turned into the path of a vehicle driven by Krista L. Gilbert, 40, of Thompson.

A passenger in Thompson’s vehicle, Judy E. Fletcher, 55, was taken by Mid-Missouri Ambulance to Lake Regional Health System in Osage Beach for her injuries.

Reports indicate Daniels, Gilbert and Fletcher were all wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident.
