A Holden woman was injured in a single-vehicle accident at 7:40 a.m. Thursday in Johnson County.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Katelyn M. Glynn, 18, was driving south on SW 1551 Road, one-tenth of a mile south of SW 326 Road, when her vehicle traveled off the left side of the road and struck a mailbox. Glynn over-corrected and the vehicle continued to travel off the left side of the road and struck a utility pole before overturning.

Glynn, who was wearing a seat belt, was taken by private vehicle to Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg with minor injuries.

Information is taken from preliminary Missouri State Highway Patrol and Sedalia Police Department reports, which do not necessarily contain statements from all parties involved.
