This list is a sampling of crime in Sedalia and the surrounding area. Information is taken from official police reports, which do not necessarily contain statements from all parties involved in each case.

Sedalia Police Department

Arrests

March 3

9:07 p.m.: Austin Scott Gruber, 19, no address, of Sedalia, was arrested near the intersection of West 16th Street and South Osage Avenue in Sedalia on charges of two counts of possession of methamphetamine, one count of possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana.

March 4

11:59 a.m.: Larry A. Holbert, 48, of the 2000 block of East Seventh Street in Sedalia, was issued a summons at his residence to appear in court on a charge of animals at large.

5:30 p.m.: David J. Dotson, 18, of the 700 block of West Fifth Street in Sedalia, was arrested near the intersection of West Broadway Boulevard and South Osage Street on a charge of driving with a suspended license.

5:57 p.m.: Tucker Smith, 19, of the 100 block of Road Runner Court in Sedalia, was arrested near the intersection of West Second Street and Osage Avenue on charges of possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of alcohol by a minor following a traffic stop. A passenger, Olivia C. Krumwiede, 19, of the 100 block of Road Runner Court in Sedalia, was issued a summons to appear in court on charges of possession of marijuana and possession drug paraphernalia.

7:52 p.m.: Blake E. Bennett, 28, of Hughesville, was arrested near the intersection of South Prospect Avenue and West Third Street on charges of driving with a suspended license and possession of marijuana.

Arrests

March 2

9:52 p.m.: rebecca Diane Crum, 30, address unknown, of Sedalia, was arrested near the intersection of East Broadway Boulevard and South New York Avenue on charges of driving with a suspended license, expired registration, no seat belt and an outstanding warrant from the Sedalia Police Department.

March 3

3:10 a.m.: Cecilia Bailey, age unknown, of Otterville, was arrested near the intersection of U.S. Highway 50 and Highway O in Smithton, of a charge of driving with a suspended license.

Missouri State Highway Patrol

Arrests

March 4

11:20 p.m.: Frank A. Bibbs, 60, of Kansas City, Missouri, was arrested in Saline County on charges of driving while intoxicated.

March 5

12:12 a.m.: Shane T. Campbell, 41, of Warrensburg, was arrested in Saline County on charges of driving while intoxicated and driving with a revoked license.

12:46 a.m.: Adam J. Trantham, 28, of Springfield, was arrested in Henry County on charges of felony possession of a controlled substance.

12:50 a.m.: Howard K. Chase, 23, of Kansas City, was arrested in Johnson County on charges of resisting arrest, speeding, no insurance, no seat belt and failure to register a motor vehicle with the Department of Revenue.

2:13 a.m.: Jeffrey L. Jackson, 59, of Salisbury, was arrested in Saline County on charges of driving while intoxicated and careless and imprudent driving.
