Man hurt in Henry crash
A Lowry City man was injured in a single-vehicle accident at 1:25 p.m. Wednesday in Henry County.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Andrew R. Johnson, 44, was driving north on state Route 13, north of SE 1100 Road, when a defective tire caused his vehicle to travel off the right side of the road and come to a controlled stop.
Johnson, who was wearing a seat belt, was taken by private vehicle to an unknown hospital with minor injuries.
Man hurt in Morgan accident
A Gravois Mills man was injured in a two-vehicle accident at 7:20 a.m. Thursday in Morgan County.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Tristen S. Newman, 18, was driving north on state Route 5, six-tenths of a mile north of Melford Lane, when his vehicle traveled off the right side of the road. Newman over-corrected and his vehicle traveled into the southbound lane of Route 5, striking a southbound vehicle driven by Chelsea D. Hackler, 27, of Versailles.
Newman’s vehicle then traveled off the left side of the road, struck a fence and overturned.
Newman was taken by Lake West Ambulance to Lake Regional Health System in Osage Beach with minor injuries.
Reports indicate both Newman and Hackler were wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident.
