Man hurt in Johnson wreck
A Kingsville man was injured in a two-vehicle accident at 3:35 p.m. Monday in Johnson County.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Gary D. Morrison, 48, was driving a motorcycle west on state Route 58, west of SW 300th Road, when he was temporarily stopped in traffic waiting to turn left. Another westbound vehicle driven by Deborah L. Whitmore, 50, of Holden, struck the rear of Morrison’s vehicle.
Morrison, who was wearing a helmet, was taken by private vehicle to Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg with minor injuries.
Woman injured in Henry County
A Climax Springs woman was injured in a single-vehicle accident at 9:09 a.m. Tuesday in Henry County.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Randal K. Arnett, 62, was driving north on state Route 7 at state Route AA when his vehicle struck a turkey.
A passenger in his vehicle, Sherrie L. Arnett, 56, was taken by private vehicle to Golden Valley Memorial Hospital in Clinton with minor injuries.
Reports indicate both Randal and Sherrie were wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident.
