Clinton woman injured in crash
A Clinton woman was injured in a two-vehicle accident at 1:10 p.m. Wednesday in Henry County.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Gregory Hard, 54, of Clinton, was driving north on state Route 7 at state Route AA when he pulled out onto Route 7 directly into the path of an eastbound vehicle driven by Bailey Stoltman, 23.
Stoltman was taken to Golden Valley Memorial Hospital in Marshall with minor injuries.
Reports indicate both Stoltman and Hard were wearing seat belts at the time of the accident.
Child injured on fairgrounds
A child was injured while riding a bicycle on the Missouri State Fair campgrounds at 8:20 p.m. Wednesday.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Burk E. Beetsma, 4, of Chillicothe, was riding his bike west on a gravel road when he veered into a vehicle driven by Kenneth W. Claspille, 67, of Wellsville, causing Beetsma to fall off his bike. He was then run over by the vehicle.
Beetsma was taken by Pettis County Ambulance District to Bothwell Regional Health Center with minor injuries.
