Two injured in Morgan crash
Two people sustained serious injuries in a single-vehicle accident at 7:20 p.m. Monday in Morgan County.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Dustin L. Dailing, 23, of Camdenton, was driving south on state Route 5, seven-tenths of a mile south of Santa Fe Road, when his vehicle traveled off the right side of the road. The vehicle became airborne and Dailing was ejected.
Dailing was taken by Mid-Missouri Ambulance to Lake Regional Health System in Osage Beach for his injuries. A passenger in his vehicle, Haley R. Richards, 23, of Springfield, was taken by Staff for Life to University of Missouri Hospital in Columbia for her injuries.
Reports indicate Richards was wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident, but Dailing was not.
Information is taken from preliminary Missouri State Highway Patrol and Sedalia Police Department reports, which do not necessarily contain statements from all parties involved.
