Two injured in Johnson crash
Two people sustained moderate injuries in a two-vehicle accident at 9:50 a.m. Thursday in Johnson County.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Brandon J. Keady, 30, of McLouth, Kansas, was driving north on state Route 131 at U.S. Highway 50 when he pulled into the path of an eastbound vehicle driven by Mihaela O. Craioveanu, 36, of Lee’s Summit. After impact, both vehicles traveled off the left side of the road.
Keady was taken by Johnson County Ambulance District to Centerpoint Medical Center in Independence for his injuries. Craioveanu was also taken by JCAD to St. Luke’s East Hospital in Lee’s Summit for her injuries.
Reports indicate both Keady and Craioveanu were wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident.
Sedalia woman injured in crash
A Sedalia woman sustained moderate injuries in a single-vehicle accident at 2:15 a.m. Friday in Pettis County.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Virginia N. Wilson, 38, was driving east on state Route 52, east of Myers Road, when her vehicle traveled off the right side of the road, struck a ditch and overturned.
Wilson, who was wearing a seat belt, was taken by Pettis County Ambulance District to Bothwell Regional Health Center for her injuries.
