Concordia woman injured in crash
A Concordia woman was injured in a single-vehicle accident at 3 p.m. Thursday in Johnson County.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Brooklyn M. Kleeman, 19, was driving north on state Route 23, south of County Road NE 600, when her vehicle traveled off the east side of the road as she was changing the radio station. Kleeman overcorrected, causing her vehicle to return to the road and travel into the southbound lane.
The vehicle then crossed back over into the northbound lane, traveled off the east side of the road and overturned.
Kleeman, who was wearing a seat belt, was taken by personal vehicle to Centerpoint Medical Center in Independence with minor injuries.
Warsaw man injured in Benton
A Warsaw man sustained moderate injuries in a single-vehicle accident at 10:45 p.m. Thursday in Benton County.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Kenneth W. Ferriss, 35, was driving a three-wheeler north on Frize Street, 200 feet south of Sally Drive, when his vehicle struck an unknown object in the road. Ferriss was ejected from the vehicle.
Ferriss, who was not wearing a helmet, was taken by Warsaw-Lincoln Ambulance District to Bothwell Regional Health Center for his injuries.
