Georgia teen injured in Saline crash

A Fayetteville, Georgia, teenager was injured in a single-vehicle accident at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Saline County.

Maggie L. Barrow, 18, was driving eastbound on state Route WW when she lost control of the vehicle in a curve and traveled off the left side of the roadway, struck the guardrail, went airborne, struck the ground and overturned, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report.

Barrow, who was not wearing a seat belt, was taken to Centerpoint Hospital in Independence with serious injuries.

Warsaw woman, child injured in Benton crash

Two people were injured in a single-vehicle accident at 9:49 a.m. Tuesday in Benton County.

Jennifer A. Markle, 24, of Warsaw, was driving north on U.S. Highway 65 when she traveled off the right side of the roadway and struck a guardrail, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report.

Jennifer was taken to Bothwell Regional Health Center with minor injuries. Her passenger, Ember G. Markle, 3, of Warsaw, was taken to BRHC with serious injuries. Reports indicate both drivers were wearing seat belts at the time of the accident.

Sedalia woman injured in two-vehicle crash

A Sedalia woman was injured in a collision at 7:43 a.m. Tuesday in Pettis County.

Michelle A. Bishop, 46, was driving northbound on U.S. Highway 50 when she failed to yield to an eastbound vehicle driven by Jeffery S. Genes, 35, of Sedalia, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report.

Michelle was taken to Bothwell Regional Health Center with minor injuries. Reports indicate both drivers were wearing seat belts at the time of the accident.
