St. Louis woman injured in Saline crash
A St. Louis woman was injured in a three-vehicle accident at 8:44 a.m. Tuesday in Saline County.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, vehicles driven by Megan L. Rosbury, 22, of Murray, Ky., and Erica D. Wilhite, 22, were slowing down in eastbound traffic on Interstate 70 at the 76.6 mile marker. Rosbury was moving into the right lane when a semi-truck driven by Craig A. Hudson, 28, of Odessa, struck the rear of her vehicle and the side of Wilhite’s vehicle.
Wilhite was taken by Saline County EMS to Fitzgibbon Hospital in Marshall with minor injuries.
Reports indicate all three drivers were wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident.
Sedalia man falls asleep while driving
A Sedalia man was injured in a single-vehicle accident at 10:18 a.m. Tuesday in Pettis County.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, David Lorandi, 20, was driving south on U.S. Highway 65, south of John Road, when he fell asleep, causing his vehicle to travel into the left lane of traffic. He over-corrected, causing his vehicle to travel off the right side of the road, strike a rock bluff, return to the road, cross the left side of the road and come to rest on the left side of the road, partially blocking the left lane.
Lorandi, who was wearing a seat belt, drove himself to his personal physician with minor injuries.
Cole Camp teen injured in Benton
A Cole Camp teenager sustained moderate injuries in a single-vehicle accident at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday in Benton County.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Tessia L. Balke, 16, was driving south on state Route U, 1.1 miles south of state Route JJ, when she lost control of her vehicle, causing it to skid off the right side of the road and overturn.
Balke, who was wearing a seat belt, was taken by ambulance to Bothwell Regional Health Center for her injuries.
Man arrested for driving while intoxicated
A man was arrested on a charge of driving while intoxicated after a single-vehicle accident at 2 a.m. Wednesday in Morgan County.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Brandon R. Voth, 24, was driving south on state Route W, 300 feet south of Ironwood Road, when his vehicle traveled off the left side of the road and struck a tree.
Voth was taken by ambulance to Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach with moderate injuries. It is unknown if he was wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident.
It was unclear where Voth is from; his arrest report states he is from Parker, Colo., while his crash report states he is from Versailles.
Three injured in Moniteau accident
Three California, Mo., residents were injured in a two-vehicle accident at 7:16 a.m. Wednesday in Moniteau County.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, westbound Travis L. Clark, 21, of California, Mo., was making a left turn at Industrial and Airport roads when he failed to yield to a northbound vehicle driven by Sara J. Hays, 27.
Hays and two passengers in her vehicle, Landon D. Hays, 6, and Lawson T. Hays, 1, were all taken by ambulance to Capital Regional Medical Center in Jefferson City with minor injuries.
Reports indicate all occupants involved were wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident.
