Warrensburg man injured in crash
A Warrensburg man sustained moderate injuries in a two-vehicle accident at 9:50 a.m. Saturday in Johnson County.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Sean T. Burns, 20, of Warrensburg, was driving west when he turned onto state Route OO at County Road NW 900. He turned in front of a northbound motorcycle driven by Ross W. Downing, 55. Burns’ vehicle struck the left side of the motorcycle, ejecting Downing.
Downing, who was wearing a helmet, was taken by Life Flight to St. Luke’s Hospital for his injuries.
Reports indicate Burns was wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident.
Man seriously injured in Johnson
A Warrensburg man sustained serious injuries in a single-vehicle accident at 9:15 a.m. Sunday in Johnson County.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Theodore W. Potter, 44, was driving south on County Road SW 101, three-tenths of a mile north of County Road SW 500, when his vehicle traveled off the right side of the road. The vehicle then returned to the road and traveled off the left side of the road. It then overturned and struck a fence.
Potter, who was not wearing a seat belt, was taken by Life Flight to Research Medical Center in Kansas City for his injuries.
Green Ridge man injured in accident
A Green Ridge man was injured in a single-vehicle accident at 7:16 p.m. Sunday in Pettis County.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Joshua A. Stephens, 25, was driving west near Sacajawea and Palmer roads when he drove off the right side of the road and over-corrected. His vehicle returned to the roadway. Stephens then drove off the left side of the road into an embankment and his vehicle overturned.
Stephens, who was wearing a seat belt, was taken to Bothwell Regional Health Center with minor injuries.
Moberly child injured in Moniteau
A Moberly toddler sustained moderate injuries in a single-vehicle accident at 3 p.m. Saturday in Moniteau County.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Sonja M. Carson, 45, of Tipton, was driving a tractor east in the 70000 block of Grazier Drive in Tipton when she pulled forward from a stop and struck a pedestrian, 3-year-old Liam C. Yoder.
Yoder was taken to Bothwell Regional Health Center in Sedalia for his injuries.
