Betty Sue Cromley will observe her 87th birthday Sept. 30.
Sue was born Sept. 30, 1928, on a farm just outside of Carrollton.
On Aug. 4, 1946, she married Glen J. Cromley in Marshall.
She has spent her life in service to others. She was very involved in the Children’s Therapy Center and Shelter Workshop as she had a son that attended both. She was active in all levels of the Girl Scouts while her girls were in scouts and after they were grown. She was also involved in PTA during her children’s school years. She attends Wesley United Methodist Church where she is very involved in all church activities.
She was employed by the State of Missouri for many years for the Regional Development Disabilities Council.
She has six children, Glen Lee Cromley, Ken (Brenda) Cromley and Ellen (Don) Cable, all of Sedalia, Phil (Nancy) Cromley, of Marshall, Carolyn Starke, of Cody, Wyoming, and David (Rebecca) Cromley, of Sugar Grove, Illinois; 23 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.
