Woman injured in rollover wreck

A Knob Noster woman sustained moderate injuries Saturday night when her vehicle overturned on U.S. Highway 50 near State Route D.

According to a report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Sandra L. Marrero, 30, of Knob Noster was traveling east on U.S. 50 at about 9:40 p.m. when she failed to negotiate a curve, traveled off the road, struck an embankment, overturned and struck a fence. She was transported by Johnson County Ambulance to Centerpoint Hospital in Warrensburg.

Belton woman injured in Saline County accident

A Belton woman sustained serious injuries Saturday night in a single-vehicle wreck in Nelson.

According to a report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Kristen M.. Baar, 30, of Belton, was traveling north on West Fourth Street in Nelson, when she hit a dip in the road and was ejected from her vehicle. Baar was not wearing a seat belt when the accident occurred.

She was transported by ambulance to Fitzgibbons Hospital by emergency medical personnel.
