Sedalia Young Professionals launches website

Sedalia Young Professionals has increased its online presence with the launch of a new website, www.SedaliaYoungProfessionals.com.

The website features several sections to help educate potential members and the public about SYP. A member directory features the name, place of work and email address for all active members, and a photo gallery showcases the various social, community engagement and professional development events SYP members participate in each month. Minutes and agendas are also on the website to help members keep up-to-date.

“We’re excited to finally launch a website for Sedalia Young Professionals,” SYP President Kevin Wade said. “Having this website will help us spread the word about our upcoming events and it gives us a way to show new members what we’re all about.”

SYP has been around for almost two years and focuses on providing community service, social engagement and professional development opportunities for young career-minded people in the Sedalia area.

SYP members participate in a variety of events, along with monthly meetings, such as volunteering at local events, touring local businesses, going to athletic games, and hosting a fall food drive. New members are welcome at any event to learn more about SYP.

SYP is also on social media – Facebook.com/SedaliaYoungProfessionals and @SedaliaYoungPro on Twitter. Follow both pages to get frequent updates on upcoming events and to see photos.

The Sedalia Young Professionals (SYP) is a group to bring young career-minded people together to promote community service, social engagement and professional development in the Sedalia area. Membership is comprised of young professionals between the age of 21 and 40 who either pay yearly dues or are employed by a company that is a member of the Sedalia Area Chamber of Commerce.
