Slater woman injured in crash

A Slater woman was injured in a single-vehicle accident at 4:45 a.m. Tuesday in Saline County.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Holly A. Wigington, 26, was driving east on state Route 240 at Queens Trail Road when her vehicle traveled off the road, impacted the embankment and became airborne. The vehicle then impacted the ground and came to rest.

Wigington, who was not wearing a seat belt, was taken by Slater EMS to Fitzgibbon Hospital in Marshall with minor injuries.

Man injured in motorcycle accident

A Columbia man sustained serious injuries in a two-vehicle accident at 5:02 p.m. Monday in Morgan County.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Rodney W. Lisenby, 58, of Gravois Mills, was driving west on state Route P at Old Eight Road when he made a left turn and struck an eastbound motorcycle driven by John A. Kesler, 58. Kesler was ejected from his vehicle.

Kesler, who was wearing a helmet, was taken by Staff for Life to University Hospital in Columbia for his injuries.

Reports indicate Lisenby was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident.
