Three people were arrested on drug-related charges after six types of drugs were found during a search warrant at a Sedalia residence Thursday morning.
According to a Sedalia Police Department STING Unit report, at 6:36 a.m. SPD detectives and officers served a no-knock, drug-related search warrant at a residence in the 1500 block of East Ninth Street.
In the home, officers located four adults and a small child. All adults were detained without incident. During the investigation, a fifth adult arrived at the residence and that person was also detained.
Officers then conducted a search of the residence and located methamphetamine, cocaine, crack, marijuana, marijuana concentrated wax and controlled pills, along with drug packaging materials/supplies, drug paraphernalia, a prohibited style of weapon and cash suspected to be the profits from drug sales.
According to the release, this was the second time in two years SPD has executed a drug search warrant at the residence. Based upon this and other information, the residence is considered a public nuisance drug house, and the owner of the residence was arrested for the felony violation of maintaining and keeping such a property.
Four of the five adults were arrested for various charges and one adult was released. The child was released to a family member.
Lisa Elaine Carlock, 50, of the residence, has been charged with possession of methamphetamine with the intent to distribute, two counts of possession of a controlled substance and possession of up to 35 grams of marijuana. She is at the Pettis County Jail on a $250,000 bond, cash or surety. An arraignment took place Friday, and a hearing is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. Tuesday.
John P. Strunk, 62, of the residence, has been charged with unlawful use of drug paraphernalia. He is at the Pettis County Jail on a $1,500 bond, cash or surety. An arraignment took place Friday where he entered a plea of not guilty, and a hearing is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. Tuesday.
Mary Elizabeth Brockman, 44, of Malta Bend, has been charged with possession of a controlled substance and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia. She is at the Pettis County Jail on a $5,000 bond, cash or surety. An arraignment took place Friday, and a hearing is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. Tuesday.
Brockman was also arrested for an active warrant from Saline County on a charge of trespassing with a bond of $250 cash only.
Sheila L. Humphrey, 45, of Sedalia, was arrested for an active probation violation warrant from Pettis County on an original charge of possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond is $1,500 surety or $350 cash.
