Marshall woman injured in Sedalia crash
A Marshall woman was injured in a two-vehicle accident at 11:40 a.m. Wednesday near the intersection of West Broadway Boulevard and South Winchester Drive.
According to a Sedalia Police Department report, Megan L. Breshears, 19, of Marshall, was making a left turn out of a private parking lot to travel west on Broadway Boulevard toward Winchester Drive. The rear driver’s side of her vehicle was struck by an eastbound vehicle driven by William F. Mulles, 81, of Marshall, as she was turning. Breshears stated she didn’t see Mulles’ vehicle.
Mulles stated as he was traveling east in the inside lane, he saw Breshears pull into his lane of travel, and he was unable to avoid a collision.
A passenger in Breshears’ vehicle, Shelby L. Breshears, 42, was taken by Pettis County Ambulance District to Bothwell Regional Health Center for injuries to her cheek and neck.
Warsaw teen injured in Benton accident
A Warsaw teenager was injured in a single-vehicle accident at 3:20 p.m. Wednesday in Benton County.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Justin T. Bartley, 16, was driving west on state Route H, four-tenths of a mile east of Heits Point Avenue, when his vehicle traveled off the left side of the road at the end of a left hand curve. The vehicle then struck an embankment and two trees.
Bartley, who was wearing a seat belt, was taken to Bothwell Regional Health Center by private vehicle with minor injuries.
