Thanksgiving could be a soggy one this year, with a 90 to 100 percent chance of rain Thursday.
“(Thursday) looks to be a rainy day with most weather sites calling for a 90 to 100 percent chance of rain,” said Sedalia-Pettis County Emergency Management Agency Director Dave Clippert. “Not looking for this to be a heavy rain, maybe over a 12- to 14-hour period we will see 1.5 to 2 inches of rain.
“If you are travelling out of the area, be aware that north and to the west could see a mix of ice and snow, so plan accordingly,” he added. “Other than that, it looks wet through the middle part of the nation, and dry to the east.”
