Early morning Thanksgiving fire destroys three homes


An 11 a.m. fire destroyed three homes in the 500 block of West Fourth Street Thanksgiving. All residents were evacuated and no injuries were reported, according to the Sedalia Fire Department. The fire started in a multi-tenant residence, spread to an adjacent home and then crossed Fourth Street. engulfing a home on the north side of the block. Firefighters from the Sedalia Fire Department and Pettis County Fire Department were on the scene over three hours.
