A Sedalia man was arrested early Tuesday morning on drug distribution charges after a search warrant was served at his residence.
According to a Sedalia Police Department STING Unit news release, at 6:31 a.m. officers served a drug-related search warrant at a residence in the 1700 block of West 10th Street. Upon entry into the residence, four adults were detained.
A search of the residence revealed multiple drugs and drug-related items, including 138 grams of marijuana, scales, drug packaging materials, Ecstasy (methamphetamine-based pills) and drug-related communications. Two adults were released without charges and two were taken to the Pettis County Jail.
Anthony Buck Johnson, 33, of the residence, has been charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance with the intent to distribute. He is at the Pettis County Jail on a $100,000 bond, cash or surety. An arraignment took place Wednesday morning.
Harold Williams, 47, of Sedalia, was arrested on charges of misdemeanor possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Formal charges for Williams were not available at press time.
