Kingsville man injured in wreck
A Kingsville man sustained moderate injuries in a single-vehicle accident at 7:25 a.m. Tuesday in Johnson County.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Brian K. Morarity, 32, was driving west on U.S. Highway 50, east of NW 1971 Road, when his vehicle slid off the left side of the road. It returned to the roadway but then slid off the right side of the road, struck the guardrail, slid down the embankment and came to rest in a small body of water.
Morarity was taken to Lee’s Summit Medical Center for his injuries.
It is unknown if he was wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident.
