Man seriously injured in Pettis County accident
A Houstonia man suffered serious injuries in a two vehicle accident at 1:20 p.m. Friday afternoon in Pettis County.Ricky R. Dickinson, 54, failed to stop at a stop sign at the intersection of US 65 Hwy., and N. Grand Ave. striking a car driven by Kevina J. Brownlee of Lake Ozark, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report.
The vehicle driven by Dickinson was traveling northbound when it traveled off the right side of the road and into a ditch. The vehicle driven by Brownlee traveled off the right side of the roadway and came to rest in a ditch.
Brownlee and his passenger, Stephanie N. Brownlee, who were both wearing seat belts at the time of the accident, refused treatment at the scene.
Dickinson, who was not wearing a seat belt was transported by air ambulance to University Hospital in Columbia with serious injuries.
